For the Summer of 2022, Trenton Downtown Association reopened the Capital City Farmers' Market in 2022 at a new location in front of the Lafayette Garage at 201 South Warren Street, near the corner of Lafayette Street, in downtown Trenton.
The 2022 market was open on Thursdays from 11 am to 2 pm as a bountiful farm stand featuring fresh produce from Asprocolas Acres. It was run by George Asprocolas, whom many of you remember as a long-standing CCFM vendor.
We appreciate the continued support and patience of our community during the past two years when the market was paused. We are returning to a different world, and the smaller market reflected those times.
We will continue to update information about our previous vendors on the CCFM vendor directory on our website. Please support local whenever you can!
How to Support Local Farmers and CCFM Vendors
We encourage you to buy fresh produce and other goods from our local farmers and vendors. They need your support! They rely on income from farmers' markets and restaurants to survive. Remember, the market was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to concerns over hosting a large-scale event in the midst of the pandemic.
It is clear that the many farmers and other vendors who participated in the Capital City Farmers’ Market (CCFM) continue to need our support. Please shop local whenever you can! Refer to the directory below to locate all your favorite CCFM vendors, from past to present.
When the CCFM Farmers' Market was closed during the pandemic, we reached out to each vendor to offer our support, which included creating a vendor directory for our website (see below). We will continue to update information about our previous vendors on the CCFM vendor directory. This year we featured the produce of Asprocolas Acres at a wonderful new CCFM Farm Stand.
Thank you to everyone who visited George Asprocolas at the CCFM Farm Stand on Thursdays from 11 am to 2 pm on South Warren Street at the corner of Lafayette. We also encourage you to continue to shop at our previous CCFM vendors as well. You will find their information in our directory below.
A Message to Our Farmers and Vendors—We will continue to update our directory of local farmers and previous CCFM vendors on the website. If you would like to be included in our directory, send us an email to marketing@trenton-downtown.com.
