A Look Back at the 2022 Levitt AMP Concert Series

The Levitt AMP Trenton Music Series returned to downtown Trenton in the summer of 2022 with an exciting lineup of talented artists representing a broad range of genres. Partnering for the first time with the African American Cultural Collaborative of Mercer County, we introduced Saturday night shows, several with family-friendly pre-show food and activities. The free 10-concert series opened with a special performance of the Capital Philharmonic of New Jersey, under the baton of its music director Maestro Daniel Spalding, at Cadwalader Park on Saturday, July 9.

On the following Saturday, July 16, the series moved to Unity Square Park for one show only and featured the Latin sounds of Sabroso. Seven of the remaining eight concerts were held at Mill Hill Park, in the heart of downtown Trenton. Our indoor rain location, in the magnificent lobby of One West State Street, was needed only once.

Week after week, it was the music that took center stage, bringing us together to sing and dance and experience the joy of live music.
