The Work of August Wilson

The Passage Theatre Company is offering lectures and workshops on the fourth Saturday of each month, led by current and former Passage Theatre staff in the areas of their personal expertise as theatrical artists and scholars.

We are kicking things off on July 27th with The Work of August Wilson, taught by Executive Artistic Director and August Wilson scholar Brishen Miller. Join Brishen as we journey into the full Pittsburgh cycle, which will be analyzed like a piece of music—a dramatic representation of The Blues. We will learn how to analyze August Wilson scripts as a director, designer, and performer.
