"Robert Duran" Exhibition at the New Jersey State Museum

On view through March 16, 2025, is a new exhibition and accompanying publication featuring the work of artist Robert Duran (1938 – 2005). Despite a critically successful career in NYC, the artist and his family moved to New Jersey around 1980, where he continued to develop his artistic practice. Trace the arc of Duran’s evolutions and experiments in painting, drawing, and watercolor from roughly 1967 to the late 1990s.
