Trenton area writer and arts organizer Dan Aubrey presents a fun and informative talk that explores the life and times of the Delaware River Islands in Trenton's borders, including Rotary Island's long history from farm to health camp for Trenton young. Free and open to the public in the Community Room (masks required). Aubrey is the cultural editor for U.S. 1 newspaper. His professional background includes serving as the theater and arts columnist for the Times of Trenton, staff member for the New Jersey State Council on the Arts public art and arts-in-education programs, and the former director of communications for the New Jersey State Museum. He was also involved with the Original Trenton Coffeehouse series, the establishment of the Trenton Artists Workshop Association, and the Passage Theater Company. He lives in Bordentown with his artist wife, Liz Roszel Aubrey.
