Less than half of TDA's operating budget is derived from the special assessment applied to commercial property owners downtown, however government properties -- which occupy a significant footprint downtown -- are exempt from the district's special assessment. Because of this, TDA must appeal to foundations and government agencies for financial support. We are also fortunate to receive contributions from business owners and individuals who believe in the TDA's commitment to the economic development and prosperity of the city of Trenton and elect to contribute additional funding for our efforts.
The Trenton Downtown Association is a 501c3 nonprofit, so why not contribute to our efforts today? The following are the contributions we've received 2007-2008.
