Learn about Biology and Ecosystems

Presented By:
New Jersey State Museum

Calling all future paleontologists and nature enthusiasts! Join us for an action-packed morning May 18, 10 am – 12 pm, as students from The Lawrenceville School serve as your museum guides, tackling mysteries of the deep and giving you an opportunity to get up close and personal to specimens that usually live behind the scenes at the New Jersey State Museum!

Uncover the secrets of ancient oceans, see how climate change affects butterflies and dragonflies, dive into the surprising connections between modern fish and prehistoric giants, and realize you have more in common with a pigeon than you realize! This is your chance to explore the wonders of nature, ask questions, and get hands-on with science. Plus, bring home infographics on each topic to continue the learning at home!

Activities are best for kids in elementary and middle school, but this is a family friendly event for all ages to enjoy
